Endless Sunshine: Why North Fort Myers is Always a Good Idea

If you’re tired of playing "weather roulette" with your vacation days, it’s time to set your sights on North Fort Myers! While the rest of the country is bundled up in parkas or dodging snowflakes, our biggest dilemma is usually choosing between flip-flops or going barefoot by the pool.
When winter rolls around, we trade the "Polar Vortex" for what we call "Chamber of Commerce" weather. Imagine bright blue skies and a perfect 75°F breeze that makes you want to spend every waking second outdoors, whether you're hitting the links or grabbing a breezy brunch in the River District.
By the time spring hits, the vibes get even better with that "just right" warmth and low humidity that makes the Gulf water feel like a dream. Even when the tropical summer heat kicks in, we know how to keep it cool. There’s nothing quite like watching a dramatic afternoon thunderstorm roll through from the safety of your screened-in lanai, knowing the sun will be back out just in time for a sunset toast.
With a year-round average of 76°F, we don't really do "seasons" here—we just do sunshine. Whether you’re a snowbird escaping the frost or a sun-seeker looking for a summer tan, the North Fort Myers sun is always ready to welcome you home!
